Does "the millennium" have much to do our view of the future?
It's an interesting question, because normally, at least 'evangelicals' tend almost to lump the entire 'end-time discussion' around whether, at first, you are "premillennial" "amillennial" "post-millennial" or maybe even "preterist" but the reason it's interesting is because that actual 'millennium' takes up only 6 consecutive verses in just one chapter in the Bible...otherwise, nothing! Because of this reality, I've slowly moved away from any serious thought about where/when/how the millennium occurs, and I've gravitated more and more toward the grand promises of God all the way through the Scriptures, and what THEY mean for us, in time--in "THIS AGE," regardless or where or when the millennium takes place. Try it out some time!
